22re Distributor Timing, But this engine, my 22RE, is getting a full build. Recently got my dual row LCE timing kit slapped on my 88’ 22re but now when everything is pieced together my truck won’t start. Many parts from the newer 22R/R-E are not compatible with those from the older pre-1985 engine. New rockers, rocker shafts, efi pro cam. Make sure you select the "4" cylinders for 22R-E. Both single and double adjustable camshaft gears are available from LC Engineering. Before starting the procedure idle engine until it gets to normal operating temperature.
